We have just completed the battery backup upgrade 
for our wireless site supplying Rakino Island. This is a vast improvement as before we had approximately 1 hour backup battery and that is now well over 12 hours.
Waiheke has it’s fair share of power outages and this new battery backup upgrade will mean that Rakino will not experience any effects from all but the very worst power outages.
Our Rakino customers may of noticed a few micro outages as we made the updates, it is now completed and all working as it should.
